Tim McKenna

Tim McKenna has served as in-house counsel since joining the University of Northern Iowa in 1988, first as Operations Auditor (including internal audit and legal work) and then University Counsel. Before that, he worked at an accounting firm in Minneapolis and for the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, D.C. Mr. McKenna earned his B.A. in accounting from St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota and passed the CPA exam shortly after. He earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School in Minneapolis.
