General Counsel

Welcome to the Office of the General Counsel at the University of Northern Iowa

The Office of the General Counsel (OGC) serves as a strategic partner to the University of Northern Iowa by providing high quality, accurate, timely, ethical, practical, and creative legal advice and representation to UNI and its administrators, faculty, and staff in their official capacities.  In so doing, we aim to protect and promote the mission, values, interests, and integrity of UNI by minimizing legal risks, promoting compliance with laws and policies, and addressing and resolving legal disputes.
